Rachel Turned 4

So I missed posting an ode to Rachel for her birthday.  We had such a busy Saturday that I didn't have time to sit down and type.  Rachel is our joyful child.  She really just exudes happiness in everything she does.  She doesn't walk, she dances, twirls, pirouettes, or skips.  She always smiles.  And she knows how to bat her eyelashes in a most beguiling way.  Rachel has so much happiness inside her that it is constantly spilling over making it impossible for her to sit still or be quiet.  She sings whenever she can and is quick with a hug or a kiss.  Certainly our lives are richer because of her influence.  Happy Birthday Rachel!  Here she is with her pink castle cake.  It wasn't a great castle but it was pink and augmented by the imagination of a four year old, it was beautiful.
