Two Birthdays!

I am so far behind that we have celebrated two birthdays! I'll start with William who turned 10. 

Lighting the candles - looks like serious business. 

From his siblings. Rachel and Geral picked it out for him. 

Yeah, his mom knows how to make him happy. 

 Super excited about the guitar possibilities.

Feigning excitement about the clothes he needed but could care less about.

And on to birthday number 2 - Rachel, who turned 6!

I would have liked her face washed for pictures but she was "still eating." 

It took a second breath to blow them all out.

Now she is satisfied. 

 A birthday may not be complete without a new doll.

And a book to keep up reading practice over the summer. 

But these are what she really wanted. Pink roller skates! 

After banishing Sarah from her picture she called her back because she 

actually does really need the help. 

And a little more help from Daddy. 

Rachel wished a month ago to get out of school on her birthday and ended up getting her wish. The school dismissed the kindergarteners a day early which was her big day. And the perfect late spring day was topped off by staying up late and catching fireflies. So many wishes coming true. It is good to be six!
