Prom season has come and gone. Lauren had a lot of fun and attended both her high school prom and Mormon prom. She was excited to find a dress that had a bit of a sleeve and only needed altering by adding a piece of fabric in the slit that went too high to be comfortable. Not only that but she got it on sale for under $100. She went to the high school prom with Ben Cohn and a nice group of friends. They all came back to the house afterward for crepes with strawberries. Lots of fun!
Mormon prom was a few weeks later. Several stakes get together and sponsor a prom for the 16 and 17 year-olds. Lauren wore the same dress but had a different date. This time she went with Wade Whitt from the Reston Ward. James Miller went with Holly Parrish and they teamed up for the night. The evening started with appetizers and pictures at the Stake Presidents house and ended once again with crepes at our house.
