The favorite Christmas present this year had to be the dress up box that Rachel and Geral received. They were enthralled by the pretty princess dresses, the shoes, tiaras, necklaces and earrings. As soon as they opened their gift they got all dolled up and stayed that way until bedtime. I am sure they would have happily slept in their new duds but we convinced them that the dresses needed a rest and that they would be waiting to put on when they woke up. The dress up box gets carried around room to room so that their treasures are never far away.
Rachel's only lament after they opened up the gift was that they needed two more little girls so that she could see all the dresses being worn at the same time. It was hard for her to leave two beautiful dresses languishing in the box, but to her dismay, they were much too small for her big sisters to wear.
