All I set out to do was mop the floor underneath the table. To facilitate this, I started moving chairs from their normal spots around the table and put them on the rug in the family room. One of the little girls looked at me and asked with a great deal of wonder in voice, "Are you making a fort?" "I sure am," I replied. She ran off to find her sister and by the time she got back I had the chairs in a circle with a blanket thrown over the top. Squeals of delight were followed by many hugs and many kisses. You would think that I have never done such a thing before.
Of course, when I think about it, I usually pawn the job of actually building the fort off on their siblings, so maybe I haven't.
An hour later, all the wood floors were cleaned and the kids had been happily entertained the entire time. Not only that but I got all the credit for being so fun.

How fun. Hey I like your bar stools-where did you get them?
Simple fun, always the best.
The stools came from a local outfit here in Herndon. They say "Made in China" and another label that says "Comitia Molina". A little Googling tells me that Comitia Molina is a furniture importer based in High Point, NC.
