Time for the annual homecoming parade. Sarah was marching with the band this year so we were off to watch and cheer her on. Rachel and Geral have learned their lessons in past years when their pockets were not big enough, so this year they were determined to take bags to collect their loot in. Of course we had to get to our spots early and waiting is the hardest part.
Then finally in the distance we could hear the drums. And our first glimpse of the parade came into view led by the ROTC.And soon enough the band marched in playing loudly.
Then they stopped playing just as they reached us. I knew that a full mile into the course they would be winded and need a break so that they could finish strong as they marched onto the school grounds, but I parked where it was convenient for me.
Can you find Sarah among all the matching uniforms? The hint is that she plays the flute.

| And one more view as she passes by. She is the second to last . |
So long band! Bring on the candy throwers. As you can see, they each got a full bag. Happiness is!
