Lauren's room is emptied out. She pared her keepsakes down to two bins which I will store for her. And look at the floor. We haven't seen that in four years. As her friend Bailey put it on Facebook, "That's the first time I have ever seen it!" There was a reason her second grade teacher said she had a volcano desk. But now it is down to bare bones, just a couple of old prom dresses left in the closet and a couple books left on her shelf. I will move her art portfolio downstairs until she comes back. We are going to miss her.
