End of School Wrap Up

Before we get too far along in summer, I need to recognize some other important things that happened at the end of the school year. The biggest news of course was that Lauren did indeed, actually graduate. She was handed a diploma and can leave high school behind her. BYU, here she comes.

In another important event, William complete the Cub Scout program and has moved into Boy Scouts. He finished up all his requirements for Webelos and Arrow of Light. 

Geral finished up preschool earlier than the other kids got out of their school years. This made her available to help me pick strawberries and cherries this spring. We have a nice batch of strawberry jam in the freezer and enough cherries to make a few pies and desserts. Here she is showing off her strawberry that she thought looked like a cow.

Sarah enjoyed her end of year band competitions and her band placed very well in them. Steven managed to survive this year. It was a tough one for him. Rachel is super excited to finish up first grade and is really looking forward to learning to swim this summer.
