So today was the big day for Lauren. She got rid of those bothersome tonsils for good. Fortunately for all of you, I did not take pictures. She did well with the surgery, the throat is scabbing over just as it should and so far the pain meds they gave her are keeping her comfortable. She is tired and resting.
The surgeon thought that Lauren's tonsils were gross. Not an exact quote, she was much more diplomatic but that was the gist. We are glad they are gone and won't bother Lauren any longer.
Now Lauren is happy with a fudgesicle for dinner but I had better figure out what the rest of us are going to eat.
