April in Virginia

The fading daffodils have been replaced by tulips.
Cherry blossoms are dropping off the trees like a delicate pink snow.
 The redbuds wave purple arms.
Dogwoods are blooming in pink and white.
The green grass is laced with dandelions and violets.
Azaleas shout their vivid colors.
The scent of lilac fills the air.
